A series of promotions has reset the organizational structure of the financial division of MFA Oil Company. While the basic functions of the departments within the division are unchanged, the faces leading some of those teams are different.
“With the recent reorganization, I want to ensure that everyone knows whom to contact if they need assistance,” says Jeff Raetz, chief financial officer.
Any inquiries about daily, weekly, or monthly accounting or fixed assets should be directed to Sandy Cryderman, accounting operations controller.
For questions about taxes, accounting setup, budgets and other financial reports, Kristi Story, director of general accounting, budget and reporting, is the person to ask.
If you need to contact someone regarding customer statements, collection activities or credit decisions, start with Amy Thoenen, senior credit and collections manager.
In her new treasurer position, Haley Davidson now oversees the accounts receivable, accounts payable and banking departments and can help with questions related to those areas.
Raetz says there are a few openings in the inventory accounting department that the company is actively seeking to fill, including a manager’s position.
“We want to have people in place in those roles before we hire someone for the vacant BPLP accounting manager position,” Raetz said.
Any inventory accounting questions in the interim should be directed to Sandy Cryderman.
