
Kristi Story has been promoted to director of general accounting, budget and reporting. In her new role, Story will ensure the integrity of the general ledger and financial statements, maintain compliance with generally accepted accounting procedures and sound internal controls, and oversee the indirect tax department. She reports to Jeff Raetz, chief financial officer.
“Kristi has made a significant positive impact in her short time with us, and I’m excited for what she can do moving forward,” Raetz said.
Story joined MFA Oil as general accounting manager in May 2020, following a 26-year career with Landmark Bank, which is now known as Simmons Bank. Her work experience includes vice president and accounting management positions with Landmark Bank and nine years as an accounting bookkeeper for Boone County Oil Company.
