On November 4, Chief Financial Officer Jeff Raetz announced the promotion of Sandy Cryderman to the position of accounting operations controller. Cryderman now oversees all accounting operations teams across MFA Oil and MFA Petroleum and the following accounting areas:
- BPLP, including Petro-Card 24 and inventory
- APM
- Big O Tires
- Break Time
- Fixed assets
“Sandy was the logical choice to fill this role,” Raetz said. “She is very knowledgeable about our accounting systems and processes, and she has established herself as a go-to resource for accounting issues throughout her 16-year tenure with the company.”
Cryderman began her career with MFA Oil as a refined oil and fixed assets clerk in 2006. She has taken on additional responsibilities as she has progressed through the company’s accounting hierarchy in roles such as fixed assets supervisor, manager of fixed assets and Break Time accounting, director of revenue accounting and process improvement, and director of general accounting, budget and reporting.
