Will Reniker, senior warehouse manager, was recently selected to receive the MFA Oil Executive MBA scholarship. This scholarship is granted through the MFA Oil Foundation to one employee per year in conjunction with the University of Missouri’s Trulaske execMBA program.
Reniker has worked for MFA Oil for 14 years, working his way up from his first job of washing windows at Jiffy Lube. He is currently stationed in Moberly where he oversees the distribution warehouse, sets prices for non-fuel items and builds vendor relations in order to ensure the company receives the best prices possible.
“I am just really thankful to the MFA Oil Foundation for providing this opportunity,” says Reniker. “It’s going to provide me with a better and deeper understanding of corporate management as I navigate the next stage of my career.”
Outside of his time at work, Reniker enjoys volunteering in the Columbia and Fulton communities. He particularly likes helping clean-up city parks and assisting with landscaping and tree plantings. He is also an active volunteer with his son’s Cub Scout troop.
The execMBA program is designed for working professionals and allows for students to complete most of the program online. On-campus attendance is only required four Fridays per year.
The scholarship covers full tuition costs, a tablet and other miscellaneous costs associated with the program. It will also cover a nine-day trip to Europe where students meet with foreign business leaders.
Reniker will begin the 21-month program in August and is expected to graduate in May 2020.
