Welcome Curtis Harrell – Murfreesboro Plant Manager

Curtis Harrell is the new plant manager for Murfreesboro, Tenn. Harrell brings nearly 40 years of experience in the propane industry to his new role. He reports to Chris Tynes, Ohio Valley District Manager.

For ten years, he worked with his father as a partner at Harrell Propane, Inc. Since 1995, when the Harrells sold their business, Curtis has worked in a variety of management roles with various propane companies, including United Cities Propane, Heritage Propane and AmeriGas Propane. Most recently he served as operations manager for Blue River Propane.

“Curtis comes to MFA Oil with decades of experience in the propane industry and strong knowledge of the middle Tennessee market,” Tynes says. “He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our company, and I look forward to the growth and leadership Curtis will bring to the Murfreesboro plant.”

Harrell says the position’s proximity to his home and the company’s reputation drew his interest.

“When the position became available, I saw it as a great fit for me,” he says. “MFA Oil has a good name in the Murfreesboro area, and I applied immediately.”
