Approximately 600 mid-Missourians recently got a taste of some big-sized family fun. For the third year, Big O Tires sponsored Tons of Trucks in Osage Beach, Mo. The free event, which was held June 3 at Osage Beach Middle School, allowed families to explore more than 20 fire trucks, police cars, dump trucks, tractors and other large vehicles.
In addition, other family-friendly activities were available, including carnival games, bounce houses, a cake walk and a duck pond with prizes.
“We do these types of events to build community involvement,” says Melanie Coats, director of marketing for Big O Tires. “Kids love seeing these types of vehicles up close and it’s a nice, family-friendly activity.”
MFA Oil donated several prizes for the occasion and two propane trucks were brought in for display.
