Smokestack Bar.B.Q Now Available at Columbia Break Time

Those experiencing barbecue cravings now have a new spot to get their fix in Columbia. The Break Time at 3200 E Stadium Blvd. joins the Clinton and Lee’s Summit locations in serving the Smokestack Bar.B.Q brand.

Beef burnt ends, brisket, smoked ribs, pulled pork and pulled chicken are all options available on the menu. Various sides offered include potato salad, baked beans, cheesy corn and coleslaw. The products featured are smoked using native Ozark hickory and typically come from local Midwest livestock sources.

“Most people cannot believe they are able to get such a high quality, authentic and quick barbeque meal at a convenience store,” says Break Time food service development manager, Stephanie Mahoney. “Many local community members immediately recognize the Smokestack Bar.B.Q brand and are thrilled to have it closer to home.”

Break Time plans to bring the Smokestack brand to its new Moberly location, which is under construction at the Route M exit off Highway 63, and the soon-to-be-rebuilt stores on Paris Road in Columbia and on Highway 36 in Macon. Dashboard Diner, which provides Break Time’s pre-made sandwiches, will also eventually offer select Smokestack Bar.B.Q products.
