MFA Oil announces the promotions of Julie Doty, Jana Lown and Nancy Sumpter to the position of senior customer service representative. They will provide training and support for the implementation of New Dawn’s third phase to BP/LP employees within their respective regions. In addition to their new responsibilities, they will continue to perform their local CSR duties.
“We’re excited to add Julie, Jana and Nancy to our senior CSR team and look forward to their contributions in helping us navigate the transition process with New Dawn,” says Kenny Steeves, vice president of bulk and propane plant services.

Doty has worked for MFA Oil for 13 years as a CSR at the plant in Lake City, Ark. During her career with the company, she has helped with local dispatching for a time and was part of the training team during the New Dawn Phase 2 rollout.
“Julie has consistently contributed to the success of the Lake City plant and the district since she joined MFA Oil,” says Jeff Goodwin, mid south district manager. “Her work ethic and communication skills along with her abilities to organize and multi-task have served us well. I really appreciate Julie’s effort and attitude regarding the daily challenges we must meet to improve our operations going forward. We congratulate Julie on her well-deserved promotion.”

Lown began working for the MFA Oil in 2001 as a CSR at the Jasper, Mo. BP/LP office. She transferred to the Carthage, Mo. LP plant after the purchase of Barton Energy and was chosen to be an E1 trainer during the first phase of New Dawn. In April 2015, she moved into the position of logistics agent in the SW Logistics Office in Carthage.
“Whether it’s a customer, employee, friend or a complete stranger, Jana has a strong willingness to help others, which I believe comes from her strong Christian faith,” says Bob Barton, district manager for Southwest Missouri and Oklahoma. “Jana has gone above and beyond everything I have asked of her, is a leader and a good teacher. She learns quickly and will be of great help in preparing staff in our region for the next phase of New Dawn. I am proud to have her on my team as a senior CSR.”

Sumpter joined MFA Oil as a CSR at the Moberly, Mo. BP/LP plant in 2009. She will soon be moving into the Moberly Business Support Campus where she will continue to care for local customers in addition to her new duties as senior CSR.
“Nancy is a fantastic addition to an already elite group of senior CSRs,” says Barry Oden, northeast central district manager. “Her outstanding customer service skills and knowledge of the E1 system will be of immense help to her fellow CSRs in the district. Nancy has the complete skill set and I’m confident she will do great things in this new role.”
There are now eight senior CSRs in the company, including the following who were previously announced: Karalee Brown, Mandy Budgett, Sarah Fuehring, Chris Threlkeld and Dawn Tyler.
