MFA Oil is pleased to announce the promotion of Paul Samp to Wholesale Product Distribution and Dispatch Manager. Samp started with MFA Oil in March of 2008 as an Area Credit Manager over the Petro-Card 24 and Preferred Card department.
“Paul has demonstrated excellent leadership, decision making, and problem solving skills as an Area Credit Manager,” Curt Ricks, Director of Credit says. “As a team lead in the second and third phases of the New Dawn E1 implementation project, he has done a phenomenal job of learning the new system beyond what a typical end-user would. His considerable efforts have also resulted in several process improvements and efficiency gains.”
Samp will report to Jon Ihler, Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
“Paul has a great understanding of our business and his talents will be put to good use in his new position,” Ihler says. “I look forward to working with him.”
