The Missouri Propane Safety Commission has approved the company to conduct in-house training using a certified employee training program created by the National Propane Education Research Council. The program consists of online courses and exams completed through MFA Oil University and a single-day training session led by an instructor.

The training session provides hand-on demonstrations with props and videos. At the end of the training day, employees take a 100-question test and must answer at least 75 percent of the questions correctly to receive the certification credentials. There is also a skills assessment that must be completed at a later date to verify the employee is able to put the information from the training into practical use while completely daily work functions.

The first course, Basic Principles and Practices, has already been approved and loaded on MFA Oil University. More online courses are in the works and will be added once they are approved.
