MFA Oil has transitioned transactions for Petro-Card 24 sites and Preferred Card sales to the Enterprise One (E1) system. The changeover to E1 will consolidate operations and allow inventories to be tracked daily rather than on a monthly basis as it was in the old legacy system.
“In the grand scheme of things not much is actually changing,” says Sandy Cryderman, director of revenue accounting. “All that removing the legacy system is really doing is consolidating a process that used to involve multiple systems into one single system.”
From a logistics standpoint, it will be important for fuel deliveries to these sites to be entered accurately for the system to function as it’s intended.
“How the inventory is received will impact the operation of the system,” Cryderman says. “We need to be diligent about ensuring the right fuels are loaded into the correct tank locations.”
