On Aug. 4, Robert “Butch” Burlbaugh accepted the role of director of field training and procedures.

“This is a new role that we, as a company, felt was imperative to our success as we move forward with standardization of procedures and the introduction of Energy-Force,” says Kenny Steeves, senior vice president of MFA Oil operations. “Butch understands what we need to be successful in the field and his experience aligns well with the needs of this new position.”

Burlbaugh has been with MFA Oil since 2003 and served as southeast district manager prior to his change in positions.

In his new role, Burlbaugh will be responsible for standardizing the company’s training practices and procedures for all field employees so that they are well prepared to handle the transition to Energy-Force. He will continue to report to Steeves.

Trevor Honeycutt – Southeast District Manager

Trevor Honeycutt

Trevor Honeycutt was named district manager of the company’s southeast bulk fuel and propane operations, on Sept. 9.

Honeycutt, who has been with the company since 2012, joined MFA Oil as plant manager for Advance and Bernie, Mo. After seven years as a plant manager, he was promoted to area manager and added responsibility for the plants in Jackson, Sikeston and East Prairie, Mo., to his existing duties.

“Trevor has great leadership and enthusiasm, which will definitely benefit our southeast district,” says Steeves. “I look forward to working with him.”

Honeycutt lives in Dexter and will operate from there as he manages the company’s southeast operations. Prior to joining MFA Oil, Honeycutt worked for Amerigas for 24 years, including time spent as a district manager. He will also report to Steeves.
