New Recruiting Software to Debut in June

The human resources department is preparing to launch a new software system for the recruitment and hiring of employees. The platform is called iCIMS, and it will allow recruiters and hiring managers to easily track, search, screen, sort and hire candidates for various company positions.

This system will replace the current recruiting and hiring interface on June 28, according to Tom May, director of employee relations.

“We will be able to automate the management of job requisitions, applications, resumes and candidate files all through the new system,” says May. “Recruiters and hiring managers will have more visibility into potential candidates’ profiles and can use the system for screening and scheduling interviews. Additionally, managers in all departments throughout the company will be able to use iCIMS to post open positions.

The iCIMS system will offer email alerts for managers to keep up with the hiring process, including the ability to submit approvals through Outlook.
