There’s a new process to get things going if you’ve got a multi-department project you want to kickstart. Write up a brief description of the project and send it to [email protected].
Justi Montague, director of operational efficiency and data governance, and Brian Hynek, senior program manager, will review all submissions. They will then conduct a project interview with the requester to gather additional information such as goals, resources involved, effort level and an estimated timeline.
Montague says the balance between a project’s impact, effort level and cost will factor into how it is prioritized in the company.
“We are adopting a narrower focus with projects than we used in the past,” she says. “We want to ensure we devote the resources necessary to complete each project as quickly and efficiently as possible, while still ensuring accuracy and positive results.”
Project submissions will be presented monthly to the executive management team for review and consideration.
