Construction is underway on a new plant and office near West Siloam Springs, Okla. The plant, which is about five miles from the Arkansas state line, is being built to enhance operations acquired through last year’s acquisition of Fuels and Supplies. It will feature four 20,000-gallon flame-resistant bulk fuel tanks with double walls to prevent leaks.
“This location will help us cut down on real estate expenses because the new tanks require about half as much land as the property we acquired,” says John Friedrich, manager of maintenance and construction. “The tanks will also pump about twice as fast as those you would find at our other plants.”
Friedrich says there are only a few finishing touches left to be done before the plant is complete. The company is currently waiting on the local electric cooperative to provide service to the location. The plant’s address is 21587 U.S. Highway 412 in Colcord, Okla.
