New Plant Managers at Seven Locations

Learn more about the newest members of the MFA Oil team to take on the role of plant manager.

Gordon (Chip) Bennett

Gordon (Chip) Bennett – West Helena, Ark.

Hometown: I grew up in Blackton, Ark., and now live in Brinkley, Ark.

Work Experience: I grew up on a family farm. I moved to Missouri and worked for MFA Oil as a service technician. I have also worked as an acquisition specialist and management trainee.

Favorite Part of Your Job: I enjoy working with customers and helping them meet their needs. I also appreciate working with many different coworkers who have become good friends.

Hobbies: My hobbies include hunting on my family farm, fishing in rivers, and spending time with my family and friends.

Wyatt (Mac) Floyd

Wyatt (Mac) Floyd – Warrensburg, Mo.

Hometown: Carrollton, Mo.

Work Experience: Before joining MFA Oil, I worked in public safety and emergency management for Johnson County. I have also served in the U.S. Marine Corps.

Favorite Part of Your Job: I enjoy the small-town atmosphere and all the people I get to meet.

Hobbies: Spending time with my wife and family, exercising, and cooking.

David Freund

David Freund – Golden City, Mo.

Hometown: Joplin, Mo.

Work Experience: I have been in the energy industry for nearly 25 years, including seven and a half with MFA Oil as a driver, service technician, and management trainee. 

Favorite Part of Your Job: I enjoy serving the community, working with a good team and helping people.

Hobbies: I don’t have many hobbies, but I enjoy working in my shop, being around family and doing things outside.

Johnnie Howe

Johnnie Howe – Emporia, Kan.

Hometown: Gardner, Kan.

Work Experience: I worked 15 years as a quarry manager, ten years in operations management for Hampel Oil, and nearly six years as a business development representative for MFA Oil. 

Favorite Part of Your Job: I love working with folks and helping others. I tell everyone I have the best job as I get to work every day with my friends. I have always loved being in agricultural settings.

Hobbies: Hunting and spending time with my family, including my granddaughter and soon-to-be grandson, due on February 22, 2022.

Dalton Oden

Dalton Oden – Marshall, Mo.

Hometown: I grew up and spent my childhood in Eldon, Mo.

Work Experience: Following high school, I worked for a railroad contractor traveling and working on the railroad, which is where I got my driving experience and mechanical knowledge. After that, I accepted a management position at a restaurant. I enjoyed that very much, but I knew I wanted to work for MFA Oil. I have been around the industry my whole life. My grandfather worked for the company, and my father still does. After driving for a year with MFA Oil, a management position opened up, and I felt ready to use my leadership skills to help grow the business.

Favorite Part of Your Job: I am excited to help MFA Oil be a part of the community and deliver outstanding customer service. My favorite part of the job is creating great relationships with the customers and employees.

Hobbies: Outside of work, I enjoy golfing and hunting, as well as watching the Kansas City Chiefs.

Julie Swindle

Julie Swindle – Lake City, Ark.

Hometown: I have lived in Lake City my whole life.

Work Experience: I went to work as a CSR for MFA Oil at the Lake City bulk plant in September 2002. I held that position for about 14 years before being promoted to senior CSR. Shortly after that, I became the operations manager for the Mid-South District. 

As a senior CSR, I trained and supported plant personnel on the E1 system while continuing my plant duties at the Lake City office. As operations manager, I managed drivers and trucks, maintained truck inspections, and managed all maintenance, service, and truck repairs. I also continued to support plants and customers as needed.

Favorite Part of Your Job: The people! I have always enjoyed interacting with the customers, CSRs, managers, drivers and home office staff. It pleases me to help people!

Hobbies: I love hanging out with my husband, kids and new grandbaby. I also enjoy working in my yard, and I love Starbucks.

Rodney (Shae) Wrisinger

Rodney (Shae) Wrisinger, Lexington, Mo.

Hometown: Lexington, Mo.

Work Experience: Before becoming a plant manager, I worked as a driver with MFA Oil for the last seven years. I’ve worked in construction manufacturing, as a driver for construction companies and as a FedEx driver.

Favorite Part of Your Job: I love being out in the community, meeting new people and building relationships with our customers.

Hobbies: I enjoy fishing and spending time with my family. I also run a small firewood business.
