There’s a new face calling on prospective customers on MFA Oil’s behalf. Joe Burkett was named to the business development team on July 29 and is covering a 20-county territory that primarily includes plants in the company’s West Central District.
Burkett is working with bulk and propane plants in his territory to grow their volume by identifying new customers and sales opportunities. Prior to joining the business development team, he worked as an intern with the Wholesale Product Distribution and Dispatch Department.
“Joe has been a great asset to the company as an intern and we are happy to add his positivity and work ethic to the business development roster,” says Bill Marshall, director of business development. “His ability to connect with potential customers through his background as a former Jefferson City Jay and Missouri Tiger football player is also a plus.”
Burkett holds a bachelor’s degree in agribusiness management and master’s degree in agriculture and applied economics from the University of Missouri.
