Tony Johnson has been named Northwest district manager effective Aug. 20. Johnson will report to Tom Procter, western regional vice president of BPLP operations.
Johnson’s district includes plants in Bethany, Braymer, Brookfield, Brunswick, Cameron, Carrolton, Chillicothe, Gallatin, Gower, Hamilton, Humeston (Iowa), Lenox (Iowa), Lexington, Maryville, Maysville, Mound City, Princeton, Salisbury, Sheridan, Stanberry, St. Joseph and Trenton.
Johnson began his career with MFA Oil in 2001 as a driver for the Bethany plant. He soon became the Bethany plant manager and, in 2013, added management responsibilities for Humeston, Princeton and Trenton. In 2015, Johnson became one of the first operations managers for the company, where he worked to increase operating efficiency and assisted in the training of field personnel. He continued in that role until accepting this new role as district manager.
“Tony brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to his new position as district manager,” Procter says. “I appreciate his commitment to caring for our customers and the cooperative and look forward to working with Tony and the entire Northwest District.”
