On July 8, Nermine El Khatib was promoted to employee development manager. She now oversees the company’s recruitment and training teams, including managing the Accelerate and Leader of Leaders training programs. She reports to Amanda Cooper, vice president of human resources.
“Nermine has great enthusiasm for training and development and is an asset to the company,” Cooper says. “Her background in education makes her an excellent fit for the role. I look forward to the ideas and programs she will bring to our learning and recruitment initiatives.”
El Khatib joined MFA Oil in April 2023 as an instructional development specialist. Her professional background includes teaching high school social studies for six years in Egypt and five years in Missouri, and working as an academic advisor for the University of Missouri School of Journalism’s graduate program.
El Khatib holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Kansas and a master’s in teaching curriculum and instruction from the University of Missouri.
