On December 2, Bill Marshall was promoted to the position of director of business development. In his new role, Marshall will lead the company’s business development team, work with high-value clients and manage product bids for select accounts.
In addition to his new responsibilities, Marshall will maintain the duties of his former job as APM senior manager, a role he has held since he joined the company in 2016. For the past two years, Marshall has overseen APM’s distribution network, managed the divisions employees and consultants, directed its patronage LLC relationships, and coordinated the unit’s branded and unbranded programs.
Prior to joining MFA Oil, Marshall worked for Sinclair Oil as a wholesale representative and Farmland Industries in various jobs.
“I’m excited to get back into the lubricants world and the opportunity to get involved in our propane business,” Marshall says.
He will continue to report to Jon Ihler, vice president of sales and marketing.
“Having worked directly with Bill for two years I have seen his extensive experience in energy and the cooperative system,” Ihler says. “His leadership ability fits well in supporting the company’s sales efforts.”
