Kyle Strodtman has been named truck service manager. He will work closely with Bob Powell, who has overseen the company’s truck shop since 1995, until Powell’s retirement.
In his new role, Strodtman will supervise the building of new refined oil and propane trucks, manage the refurbishment of used refined oil and propane trucks, and work with bulk plants and drivers to complete maintenance and repairs on refined oil and propane trucks.
Strodtman joined MFA Oil 22 years ago as a refined oil driver for the Glasgow bulk plant. In 2009, he began servicing Petro-Card 24 facilities, calling on large farm accounts and barge traffic on the Missouri River, and driving a 10-wheel refined fuel truck. Strodtman transitioned to the company’s truck shop in 2016, working as a crane truck operator and mechanic for the last seven years.
Zach Studer, director of warehousing and quality control, says Strodtman was chosen as Powell’s successor because of his experience, dedication and attention to detail.
“Delivering only the highest quality product to our BPLP locations has always been one of Bob’s highest priorities, along with the safety of his team,” Studer says. “These principles, which align with our core values, have been engrained into Kyle during his time working for Bob. Kyle will provide a smooth transition for our Truck Service team and our BPLP locations.”
