Kyle Carroll and Mike Platt are taking on new responsibilities within the company.
Kyle Carroll – Sr. Business Development Manager
Kyle Carroll was promoted to senior manager of business development on January 24. In his new role, Carroll leads the company’s business development team, works with high-value clients and manages product bids for select accounts.
Carroll joined MFA Oil in December 2016 as a management trainee and was named plant manager in Emporia, Kan., in August 2017. Most recently, he served as plant manager in Garnett, Kan., since 2019.
He reports to Will Reniker, senior director of sales and marketing.
“Kyle brings a strong understanding of MFA Oil’s field operations to the position,” says Reniker. “I look forward to Kyle bringing an analytical approach as we look to increase MFA Oil’s business opportunities and profitability.”
Carroll graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Abilene Christian University and is expected to graduate from the University of Missouri’s Trulaske execMBA program in 2022.
Mike Platt – Sr. APM Manager
On February 7, Mike Platt will begin his new role as senior manager of the APM division. He will be responsible for oversight and coordination of the APM distribution network, managing APM employees and consultants, and coordinating with dealers and employees to facilitate branded and unbranded programs.
Platt joined MFA Oil in 2017 as an APM financial accountant. In 2019, he took on the role of senior operations specialist. Before joining MFA Oil, Platt worked in sales at Veterans United Home Loans for three years.
Platt will report to Will Reniker, senior director of sales and marketing.
“Mike has worked closely with APM’s customers, salesforce, and vendors for several years, and his involvement with day-to-day operations has been crucial for the organization’s success,” says Reniker. “I am excited to see Mike grow in his new role and continue to add to APM’s success.”
Platt is a 2014 graduate of the University of Missouri and holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and banking.
