MFA Oil is pleased to announce the promotions of Brian Hynek, Mitch McCleary and Siddarth Rajagopalan.
Brian Hynek – Senior IT Operations Manager

Brian is overseeing, mentoring and providing leadership to IT Service Desk managers and supervisors. Among his new duties, Brian is responsible for serving as the internal department project manager of many of critical IT projects; leading efforts to stream existing IT operation policies, training and documentation; and handling procurement, budget management and vendor relationship management for all IT services. Brian continues to report to Jeremi Rowland, director of information technology services.
“Brian’s innate operational mindset and process-driven personality make him ideally suited to serve in his new role as IT Operations Manager,” says Rowland.
Brian joined MFA Oil in April 2007 as a PC support specialist and has progressed through the IT service ranks. He has served as systems administrator, help desk supervisor and manager of IT service desk before assuming his new role.
Mitch McCleary – IT Service Desk Manager

In his new role, Mitch is responsible for daily leadership and management of the IT Service Desk technicians, specifically the Desktop Technology teams. Mitch reports to Brian Hynek, senior manager of IT Operations, with whom he collaborates and coordinates to support the Retail Technology Services team.
“Mitch has been instrumental in several different IT projects spanning all lines of business we support and has been a key reason for the success of our after-hours IT support services over the past couple of years,” says Hynek.
Mitch began his career with MFA Oil as a Break Time sales associate in 2010, and eventually worked his way to becoming store manager at the Business Loop location in Columbia in 2013. He joined the IT Services team in 2014 as a retail systems technician and, prior to his promotion, he had worked as a service desk technician II since 2018.
“Mitch’s go-getter attitude, pleasant personality and superb problem-solving ability have served him well and I have no doubt the Service Desk team will continue to provide the best customer service possible to our employees under his leadership,” says Rowland.
Siddarth Rajagopalan – ERP Development Manager

Sid leads and manages day-to-day activities of the enterprise resource planning (ERP) development staff, in addition to serving as senior ERP developer for the company’s core business system development efforts. He reports to Matt Boyce, senior manager of development and data solutions.
“Sid has been a key fixture in our efforts to build the first MFA Oil E-Commerce website as well as the CSR workbench since he joined the company,” says Rowland.
Sid was hired as a senior JD Edwards EnterpriseOne developer in April 2018.
“Sid’s experience with E1, coupled with his willingness to tackle new challenges, make him an excellent choice to lead our ERP development efforts,” says Boyce.
