MFA Oil is pleased to announce the promotions of Jim Crane and Gary Tegerdine.
Jim Crane, Inventory Accounting Manager

In his new role as inventory accounting manager, Jim will lead the company’s reconciliation of inventory and costs, while generating and facilitating process improvement opportunities. He will oversee inventory and cost accounting personnel while ensuring inventory information sent in from field locations is as complete and accurate as possible. Jim has been with the company for three years as an inventory accountant. His previous experience includes 20 years of accounting work for state agencies and non-profit organizations.
“Jim has established himself as a great resource for the plants, and he is always willing to help anyone who needs it, even if it isn’t in his area,” says Gayle Bailey senior finance and accounting director. “Jim’s promotion is well deserved as he has been instrumental in streamlining the inventory processes.”
Gary Tegerdine, Accounts Payable Manager

Gary began his career with MFA Oil in 2008 as a refined oils accountant before being named the manager of Jiffy Lube accounting and analysis, a role he held for three years. He has also worked as a financial accounting analyst and a manager in the mergers and acquisitions department. Prior to joining MFA Oil, he worked as a credit analyst with Great Southern Bank.
As accounts payable manager, Gary will manage the AP team, which is responsible for the processing of accounts payable requests, expense reimbursements and check requests. He will also maintain his support role on the mergers and acquisitions staff.
“Gary has served many roles for the company and I am confident his experience and great attitude will help him lead the AP team to the next level as we look to incorporate more automation in the coming year,” says Bailey.
