In September, April Cavaness was named plant manager of the company’s bulk and propane operations in Bernie, Mo., and Jackson, Mo. Cavaness has been with the company since December 2016 and previously worked as a customer service representative in the Jackson office.
Prior to joining MFA Oil, Cavaness worked for 16 years at Ferrell Mobile Homes where she performed a number of duties including, managing the service and supply department, bookkeeping, and property management.
“April is a motivated leader who will bring her passion and attention to detail to her new role as plant manager,” says Trevor Honeycutt, southeast district manager. “She has a firm understanding of our core values and our commitment to putting customers first.”
Cavaness is excited to take on her new position as plant manager and says the favorite part of her job is working with customers and getting to know them. “It’s great to work with people you know in the community and see their operations grow,” she says.
Honeycutt says people in the local community have noticed how Cavaness prioritizes customer service.
“April and her co-workers have taken excellent care of our customers and the community has responded by bringing us more fuel and propane business,” Honeycutt says. “I have no doubt April will continue to serve the needs of our customer in the Bernie and Jackson areas well.”
