
On December 11, Amy Thoenen was promoted to senior credit and collections manager. Thoenen now leads the credit and collections department, manages the issuance of monthly customer statements, directs collection efforts and oversees customer credit decision-making. She reports directly to Jeff Raetz, chief financial officer.
“Amy is an experienced credit professional, and I’m excited for her and MFA Oil Company,” Raetz said.
Thoenen first joined the cooperative in May 2016 as a senior credit administrator. She was promoted to area credit supervisor in December 2019 and held that role until June 2021. Thoenen worked in accounting operations at Shelter Insurance for one year before returning to MFA Oil in June 2022 as a retail accounting specialist. Her work experience includes a 16-year career with Tribune Publishing Company, where she served as commercial accounts receivable and credit manager.
