MFA Oil Acquires Propane Retailer in Pocahontas, Arkansas

MFA Oil continues to expand into new territory in Arkansas. The company recently acquired DeClerk LP Gas, Inc. in Pocahontas, Ark., effective June 21. DeClerk LP Gas has been in operation since 1938.

“The purchase of DeClerk LP Gas ties together our central and eastern operations within Arkansas and will greatly improve our efficiencies and delivery systems,” says Jon Ihler, MFA Oil vice president of sales and marketing.

The acquisitions of DeClerk LP Gas is MFA Oil’s fifth acquisition for the fiscal year and the company’s third acquisition in Arkansas this year, including Ozark County LP Gas Company, Inc. of Mountain Home, Ark. and LP Gas Co. of Keiser, Ark.

The mergers and acquisitions team continues to evaluate new acquisition opportunities in existing market areas and other states where the company can expand its footprint.
