Dawn O’Riley joined MFA Oil in February as accounts receivable manager. She is responsible for supervising the accounts receivable staff to ensure payments are properly posted to customer accounts and corresponding bank deposits are made on a timely basis. Her other duties include oversight of accounts receivable reconciliations and management of the company’s credit card programs with various card vendors and third-party processing companies.
O’Riley worked the last 13 years for Landmark Bank as a senior accountant and accounts payable supervisor in Columbia, Mo. Prior to joining Landmark Bank, she worked as a staff accountant at Shell Engineering & Associates in Columbia and Blattner Home Furnishings in Jefferson City.
“I joined MFA Oil because I was looking for a local company with strong financials, good corporate structure and one that values its employees, customers and the communities it serves,” O’Riley says. “MFA Oil has a long history of success in all of those areas.”
O’Riley reports to James Waddell, senior treasury manager.
“Employees like Dawn are a rare find,” Waddell says. “Not only did she fit the knowledge and experience we were looking for in an accounts receivable manager, she also fits well with our MFA Oil family culture. I am excited Dawn has joined our company and I’m confidant she will do an amazing job.”
