The MFA Oil Marketing Department was recognized for its outstanding work during the Cooperative Communicators Association’s (CCA) annual awards ceremony. Professional communicators representing more than 40 cooperatives from across the United States and Canada submitted nearly 600 entries in this year’s competition. The awards recognize the best in writing, photography, programs and projects, and publications. 

The MFA Oil Marketing Department won the following awards:

  • 1st Place – Corporate Public Relations Writing “Irrigators Tout the Perks of Propane” from the Spring 2019 issue of Momentum
  • 1st Place – Member Newsletter, Newspaper or Tabloid (Budget $10,001-$50,000) – “Momentum
  • 1st Place – Annual Report (Budget Less than $15,000) “MFA Oil Annual Report – 2019”
  • 2nd Place – Promotional Video (Less than 3 Minutes) “We Live Where You Do
  • Best of Show (Publications) – “Momentum

When selecting Momentum for the contest’s Best of Show award in the publications category, the judges said, “This publication is where striking photography, great storytelling and beautiful design converge to showcase the cooperative.”
