Kelli Farris is the company’s new human resources and benefits manager. Farris, who was hired in October 2023 as the employee development manager, will now oversee workforce management, employee onboarding and benefits for the cooperative.
“Kelli has shown a lot of initiative and understands our employees and culture well,” says Amanda Cooper, vice president of human resources. “Her background in recruiting and training will be beneficial as we continue to strive to better communicate with our employees about onboarding and benefits. I’m excited to have her continued leadership in our human resources department.”
Before joining MFA Oil, Farris served as executive director of the Center for Student Involvement at Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kan. She has also held student engagement and leadership development positions with the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and Missouri State University.
Farris holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Northwest Missouri State University and a master’s degree in student affairs and higher education from Indiana State University.
