
On Monday, June 15, Jeff Hopkins joined MFA Oil Company as information technology director. He will be responsible for directing the strategy, management and organization of the company’s IT department. Hopkins will also provide strategic business insight on a company-wide basis for technology needs and deployment.
Hopkins comes to MFA Oil with nearly 20 years of experience as an IT director. He previously served four years as IT services director for MFA Incorporated in Columbia. Prior to that, he was the director of IT transportation services for Cass Information Systems, a provider of integrated information and payment management solutions in St. Louis, Mo., for close to 15 years. Hopkins has also worked as a senior consultant and project manager for St. Louis-based software developer G.A. Sullivan, as manager of systems development for United Industries in St. Louis., and as a senior engineer for Hilco Technologies, a developer of manufacturing control systems in St. Louis, Mo.
Hopkins will report to Jeff Raetz, chief financial officer.
