On July 13, MFA Oil welcomed Jarin Wood, area credit manager, to the cooperative. Wood will oversee the company’s team of credit administrators.
Wood brings a broad background and diverse experience to his new position. Prior to joining MFA Oil, he worked for the last six-and-a-half years at Scholastic Corporation in credit and collections. Wood has also worked as an associate director of student and auxiliary services for the University of Missouri, general manager of the Big Lots retail store in Columbia, Mo., and as a sales account executive with Zimmer Communications.
Wood says the common denominator between his past experiences and his new position is “working with people and building successful teams.”
He will report to Haley Davidson, senior credit and collections manager.
“Jarin is bringing many years of management in credit and collections to the company, and we are very excited for him to join our team,” Davidson says.
Wood holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Missouri and earned an MBA from William Woods University.
