Home Office Adopts Three Families for Christmas

MFA Oil employees at the Home Office stepped up to make sure three families were able to have Christmas gifts to open this year. Employees donated children’s toys, clothes, household necessities and food to make sure each of the families will have a memorable holiday. The families were selected through the Voluntary Action Center’s Christmas program, which provides for low-income households, elderly and disabled individuals. Anyone who signs up with the Voluntary Action Center must meet income and eligibility requirements to participate in the program.

The Voluntary Action Center addresses the basic and emergency needs of people living in poverty in Boone County. This program strives to help individuals and families living in poverty to survive, to prevent people from slipping into poverty, and to move people out of poverty.
