MFA Oil is once again raising money for Operation Homefront, a national nonprofit organization that provides emergency and other financial assistance to the families of service members and wounded warriors. We will host our 3rd Annual Charity Golf Scramble and Concert in Columbia on June 5 at The Club at Old Hawthorne. More than 50 teams are expected to participate in the golf tournament, and we’re planning for more than 400 to attend the evening concert featuring country music artists Jana Kramer and Chris Janson.
Tickets for the concert are available to employees at a discounted rate of $15 each, on a first-come, first-served basis. There are a limited number of tickets available with a maximum of four per employee. Complimentary beer and wine will be served at the concert. Email [email protected] to purchase tickets.
In addition to the golf tournament and concert, MFA Oil’s retail divisions are contributing to the fundraising effort through in-store pinup sales at Break Time and Jiffy Lube. Break Time has set a goal for pinup sales of $135,000 and Jiffy Lube is aiming for $8,000 in sales.
There are a number of incentives for Break Time employees to encourage pinup sales:
- Employees at any store surpassing $2,000 in pinup sales will receive a new uniform shirt.
- Employees at the store with the highest total of pinup sales each week will receive Nike uniform shirts.
- The area with the highest total sales at the end of the selling period will receive the prestigious Chaney Cup, a traveling trophy named after Break Time’s commander, Curtis Chaney.
Jiffy Lube employees will also be rewarded for pinup sales:
- The store with the most sales will receive four tickets to dinner and the concert.
- The employee who sells the most will receive an Eddie Bauer jacket.
Big O Tires stores are raising money for Operation Homefront by raffling off a set of Big O Brand or Nitto tires, wheels from Wheel Pros and a lift from Rough Country Lifts. Tickets are available for sale at any MFA Oil-operated Big O Tires store in Missouri, Arkansas or Oklahoma for $10 each or three for $20.
Last year, MFA Oil raised $165,000 for Operation Homefront and the inaugural event brought in $76,000 for a two-year total of $241,000. Click here to learn more about Operation Homefront.
