President and CEO Mark Fenner recently completed a two-day teaching stint at the University of Missouri campus. He participated in the university’s College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources Executive-in-Residence Program, which gives students rare opportunities to have conversations with bona fide business leaders.
During his two days on campus, Fenner interacted with students through class lectures, roundtable discussions, one-on-one meetings and other informal gatherings. The program provides students with collaborative learning experiences where the executives share their views on business, leadership, and the future, as well as offer tips on how to find success in the real world.
“As a CAFNR alum, it’s rewarding to come back to campus and connect with students who will someday become future leaders in agriculture,” Fenner says.
Fenner is the 51st executive to take part in the program, which was initiated in February 1997.
