Rick Winger’s propane career, which has spanned 44 years, is coming to an end. Winger is retiring on December 29. He has worked for MFA Oil for 21 years and has spent the length of his professional career servicing customers in the Willow Springs, Mo., and Mountain View, Mo., area. Throughout his four decades of propane work, Winger says he has loved his job and all the people he has had the opportunity to meet.
Winger’s plant manager, Matt Warren, says he has been a great asset to the company.
“Rick has always been great with the customers and fellow employees alike,” Warren says. “He has always cared very much for the company and its reputation. Rick dependably did whatever he could to ensure his customers were happy with MFA Oil.”
Joe Case, director of BPLP operations, worked with Winger for many years and was consistently impressed with his work ethic.
“Rick was always willing to tackle any role assigned to him,” Case says. “Year after year, he has provided reliable service to the customers in Willow Springs and surrounding areas. People knew they could count on Rick to deliver for them. His experience, knowledge and commitment will be greatly missed.”
