Hundreds of MFA Oil delegates gathered at district meetings in St. Joseph, Mo., Moberly, Mo., and Jefferson City, Mo. held in February to hear updates from the company.
The meetings began with MFA Oil district managers providing a financial overview of the company, noting the volume of sales and how the company has been affected by weak crop drying demand and warmer than usual winter weather.
Cole Burton, senior manager of business development, who oversaw the development of the newly-formed wholesale fuels division explained how MFA Oil is working hard to compete for the business of larger customers.
Next, James Greer, vice president of supply and government affairs, and Tim Danze, hedging manager, discussed the current state of energy markets, why prices are currently low and how MFA Oil members can take advantage of the current situation through maximum price contracts.
Tom Procter, director of service, provided an overview of how his department is setup into three regions to serve customers, the service team’s efforts in tank setting, leak testing and general repairs and how the company is making good use of its new crane trucks.
Each meeting concluded with drawings for a pair of Yeti coolers for delegates in attendance.
Additional district delegate meetings are scheduled on March 7 in Springfield, Mo. and for March 22 in Miner, Mo.
