Since joining MFA Oil in 1989, Curtis Franke has been a steady, reliable presence at the company’s LaPlata office. After 33 years of employment, Franke is ready for retirement. His last day will be Thursday, Sept. 1.
Franke has served as a plant manager and service technician for the cooperative and is known for being an all-around team player says Barry Oden, district manager.
“Curtis has long held the trust of our customers in the LaPlata area, and his deep knowledge and experience have been an asset to the company,” Oden says. “We will miss Curtis, but his retirement is well-earned.”
Franke is appreciative of his time with MFA Oil.
“This is a great company, and I’ve enjoyed working with so many great people during my time with the cooperative,” Franke says. “The company has been good to me, and I’ve tried my best to be good for it.”
