Break Time is making progress on its rebranding campaign. Seventeen stores received updates within the 2021 fiscal year with the revamped Break Time logo and imaging.
“We started with locations that had older signage, and that needed a significant amount of work,” says Curtis Chaney, senior vice president of retail. “We also considered visibility on major highways, markets with two locations and other factors.”
The following stores are now adorned with the new Break Time logo and branding:
- 3114-Columbia (E. Broadway)
- 3160-Columbia (Grindstone Pkwy.)
- 3138-Columbia (E. Stadium Blvd.)
- 3016-Columbia (N. Stadium)
- 3134-Mexico (S. Clark St.)
- 3124-Mexico (W. Monroe St.)
- 3032-Fulton (N. Bluff St.)
- 3132-Fulton (W. 4th St.)
- 3156-Boonville
- 3071-Moberly (Hwy 24 East)
- 3089-Sweet Springs
- 3150-Lebanon
- 3125-Poplar Bluff
- 3126-Piedmont
- 3127-Silva
- 3121-Clinton
- 3158-Taos
Jason Rindom, construction project coordinator, says five of those sites had more extensive work. The stores in Boonville, Clinton, Fulton (3132), Moberly and Taos received a complete rebuild of their fuel canopies, new decking, new fascia, and new LED lighting.
“Those sites took around two to three weeks, or longer to complete due to material delays,” Rindom says. “The standard reimage typically takes about three to four days.”
Chaney says the plan is to reimage a minimum of 20 locations in the upcoming 2022 fiscal year, but that number is subject to change based on the variable cost of updating each store. He hopes to do even more stores if the budget allows.
When planning for the 2023 fiscal year, Chaney says he will take a hard look at the possibility of reimaging all remaining stores to complete the project.
