The Break Time at 221 S. Morley St. in Moberly, Mo. has been sold.
“When we made the decision to build the new truck stop in Moberly, we were approached by Jim Bratcher, who owns Bratcher’s Grocery across the road,” says Curtis Chaney, senior vice president of retail. “He wanted to know if we would be interested in selling the property. Since we would have had to invest a substantial amount of money in the Morley St. store to enhance our offerings at the location, we chose to sell the store with a supply agreement through APM. We remain committed to serving the Moberly market with our stores on Highway 24 and the soon-to-open location on Highway M.”
Bratcher plans to remodel and rebrand the store with Cenex signage and has signed a 10-year fuel supply contract with APM for an estimated 925,000 gallons per year. The store is expected to reopen sometime this fall as Bratcher’s Fuel.
