Break Time opened its newest store in Ashland, Mo., on February 16. This store is the latest to sport the redesigned logo and branding that debuted at the chain’s Lee’s Summit location in 2017 and was most recently installed at the East Elk Park Drive store in Columbia, Mo.
“Ashland has always been a good market for Break Time, and we are excited to now have a presence out on Highway 63,” says Jennifer Bach, senior director of Break Time operations. “Many of our customers make daily commutes between Jefferson City and Columbia and this new store gives them a convenient stopping point along the way.”
Located at 15040 Eastside Drive, this is the first Break Time to offer hand-dipped ice cream from Ice Cream Factory, a family-owned business based in Eldon, Mo.
In addition to frozen treats, the store offers hot sandwiches; Hunt Brothers Pizza; Dashboard Diner products; fresh-ground, bean-to-cup coffee; and a beer cave. A drive-thru is also available for customers to order food and ice cream, along with anything else the store sells, from beer and lottery tickets to cigarettes or candy.
“This is a new store layout for Break Time,” Bach says. “We have seen a lot of excitement for the Ice Cream Factory offering from customers, and we are evaluating the possibility of expanding that offering to other existing Break Times in the near future.”
This is Break Time’s second location in Ashland and its first store in Boone County to offer red-dyed, off-road diesel fuel.
