Two high-profile positions have been created in the cooperative’s bulk fuel and propane division hierarchy. The company will hire regional vice presidents of MFA Oil operations to manage all aspects of BPLP operations within an eastern and western territory that will each include four districts.
Kenny Steeves, senior vice president of MFA Oil operations, says the idea behind restructuring the division with additional leadership aligns with the company’s strategy of putting customers first, taking care of employees and making it easier to do business with the cooperative.
“With the growth and the expansion of the BPLP division, we want to ensure we remain focused in those areas,” Steeves says. “One of the primary things we will be looking for from these new positions is increased communication with our delegates, engagement with our board of directors, and more public speaking engagements across our eight-state trade territory. At the same time, we want to continue to build strong relationships amongst our employees.”
Districts and plants will be divided evenly between the two regional vice presidents. The Western Region will include the Northwest, Central, Southwest and Oklahoma Districts. The Eastern Region will include the Northeast, Southeast, Arkansas and Ohio Valley Districts.
“Now that we’ve reconfigured our districts and got them lined out, we could split them evenly,” Steeves says. “So, there will be equal responsibility between the two regional vice presidents.”
Full job descriptions for the new positions can be found on the company’s internal job board.
