MFA Oil hosted an employee appreciation event in Branson for the company’s bulk fuel and propane division on Saturday, May 14, at Chateau on the Lake resort. Employees and their guests enjoyed happy hour and dinner followed by entertainment that included a casino night, dancing, raffle prizes and camaraderie.
Attendees were each given $5,000 in play money to gamble on games such as craps, blackjack, roulette, slots and poker. The winnings were used to purchase raffle tickets for more than 60 prizes, which were partially paid for with vendor sponsorships. Guests also had a shot at winning $10,000 in cash by rolling six dice and spelling out “MFA OIL.”
Each field employee at the event was also eligible to win a $2,000 Funjet Vacations grand prize. Congratulations to BPLP Driver II Aaron Evans of Ste. Genevieve, Mo., on winning the Funjet Vacations gift card and to everyone else who took home a prize.
MFA Oil President and CEO Jon Ihler and Senior Vice President of MFA Oil Operations Kenny Steeves thanked the BPLP division employees for their dedication to the company and their spouses and significant others for the support they provide.
“I want you to know we appreciate all your hard work over the past year and the way you care for our customers,” Steeves told the crowd. “We couldn’t do what we do without you. And thank you to those of you who support our employees behind the scenes.”
