The fuel rack at the Coffeyville Resources Refinery in Coffeyville, Kan. will now carry MFA Oil’s BOSS performance diesel additive starting in late May. BOSS was previously added to the Holly Frontier Refinery rack in El Dorado, Kan. last December. These additions will broaden the availability of the diesel fuel at our Emporia and Garnett, Kan. locations.
“Having the BOSS additive at the Holly Frontier Refinery has given us a leg up in terms of marketing,” Greer says. “The BOSS additive replaced the cold flow improver they had been using at the terminal and will now allow us to be the marketer of choice for selling additized diesel in the Emporia/El Dorado market area. Expanding the distribution of BOSS in Kansas is great for both the company and our customers.”
