Casey Graham has assumed the newly created role of Big O Tires employee advancement manager. Graham will be responsible for revising the franchise’s employee education plan and providing employees with educational opportunities to advance their careers.

“Employee development is crucial to growing our business,” says Charlie Alexander, senior director of Big O Tires. “When we prioritize the advancement of our staff’s skills and knowledge, it benefits our customers and helps our employees progress in their careers.”

Graham, who had previously served as senior store manager of the company’s Warrensburg and Sedalia locations, will be working with Big O Tires employees throughout the organization – from tire technicians up to territory managers. He will visit stores to provide hands-on learning experiences and advancement opportunities through certifications. Graham will teach classes that will cover a range of topics such as tire basics and history, job safety, product knowledge, sales skills and more.

“Casey brings more than 15 years of automotive and retail tire experience with several different companies to this position,” Alexander says. “Casey led our Warrensburg store to the top-ranked position for sales growth in 2021 out of the entire Big O Tires franchise system. I’m confident Casey can help our employees find new levels of success in the future.”

Graham says one of the most valuable things he’s learned throughout his career in the automotive industry is perspective into what works and what does not work. He will lean on his past experiences, including his time spent in the Air Force as a security staff sergeant.
