Four Big O Tires employees are stepping into new management roles.

Shane Albright is the new central Missouri territory manager. He has been with the company for eight years and has held various positions, including tire technician, service advisor, service coordinator, assistant manager, store manager, and most recently, senior store manager for Osage Beach and the newer Lake Ozark location. He now reports to Derek Albertson, south regional operations manager.

“We are very excited to add Shane to our territory manager ranks,” says Charlie Alexander, vice president of Big O Tires operations. “He has done an excellent job in our stores and is a great representative for our company.”

Kyle Atteberry now serves as Big O Tires support manager. He has taken over the previous job duties of Jesse Burg, who was named the north regional operations manager in December. Atteberry has worked for the company for more than five years, including time spent in the former Jiffy Lube division. Before his promotion, Atteberry was a senior store manager in Jefferson City. He now reports to Alexander.

“I’m excited to have Kyle as part of the team,” Alexander says. “He has great operational insights and is looking forward to helping support our business from behind the scenes. Kyle is detailed-oriented and will help drive our operation forward to maximize opportunities with vendors and procurement.”

Mel Atteberry has moved into the senior territory manager role over the west-central territory, including the Jefferson City stores and three Kansas locations. He has 12 years of experience with the company, including managerial roles at the store, territory and operations levels. He now reports to Burg.

“Mel learned a lot during his time as Big O Tires employee operations manager, and I’m excited to have him back as a territory manager,” Alexander says. “Mel does a great job running our stores and pushing our teams to reach new heights.”

Brookston Johnson is the new Big O Tires employee operations manager. He has served as the southern territory manager for the past year and a half, overseeing stores in Arkansas in the Springfield, Mo., area. He recently earned an MBA degree from Abilene Christian University. He now reports to Alexander.

“Brookston has exceptional organizational and analytical skills that make him a great fit for this role,” Alexander says. “He will run our employee development department, revamp our employee orientation and standardize our operational procedures to take our business to the next level.”
