Employees will soon have another option to receive their pay. The company is working with rapid! Paycard to offer employees payment in a new, quick and efficient way. The paycards function similarly to direct deposit by making funds immediately available on payday.
“The rapid! Paycard is perfect for an employee who is unable to have a traditional bank account,” says Amy Wiser, payroll manager. “The card works much like a traditional debit card.”
The card’s features include:
- Free ATM cash withdrawal in Allpoint and MoneyPass networks or banks with a Mastercard logo
- Free cash back at retailers
- Free checks
Employees will also have the opportunity to receive additional rapid! Paycards for family members and can split funds between multiple accounts.
The paycards can be linked to the rapid!Access mobile app, which allows employees to view their card balance, deposit checks, view recent transactions, transfer funds to other accounts or rapid! Paycards, and enroll in text alerts.
“Enrollment in the rapid! Paycard program will be optional and we will be notifying employees when they will be able to sign up for a card through the Employee Self-Service module,” Wiser says.
