Several recent changes have occurred in the company’s bulk fuel and propane division.
Beginning today, March 1, the division’s operations managers will now report to Butch Burlbaugh, director of BPLP training and procedures. The responsibilities of operations managers will now shift to field employee training and assistance with special projects.
The alignment of several plants and their districts has also changed. All plants in Kansas are now part of the southwest district and are under the direction of District Manager Andy Hays. Western Missouri plants in Butler, Nevada, Peculiar and Stockton have also been added to Hays’ southwest district. Meanwhile, operations in Columbia and Marshall have moved to the central district under the supervision of District Manager Jenny Daggett.
The promotion of Jason Bond to Oklahoma district manager left a vacancy at the plant manager level in Neosho. David Freund has assumed the Neosho plant manager role and continues to manage the company’s Carthage location.
“These changes align with our overall strategy in the company,” says Kenny Steeves, senior vice president of MFA Oil operations. “We want to spend more time investing in and developing our employees. At the same time, we must continue to provide exceptional service. Modifying these districts will allow district managers to focus more on individuals and projects within their respective areas.”
