Arkansas BPLP District Updates

Dwight Hunt

The formation of the new BPLP district in Arkansas has resulted in the reorganization of some plants. A combination of six locations in the Natural State have been shifted from the Southwest and Southeast districts to the new Arkansas district, including Berryville, Harrison, Mammoth Spring, Mountain Home, Omaha and West Fork.

New plant managers are also leading several plants in the Arkansas District.

Dwight Hunt is now managing the Lonoke office following the promotion of Terry McCallie to district manager. Hunt joined MFA Oil in Sept. 2010 as a driver. He had been serving as a service technician for the last three years before becoming plant manager.

“Dwight knows what it takes to get the job done, and he’s willing to do what’s necessary to take care of our customers,” says McCallie, Hunt’s former plant manager. “He is a great guy that you can count on to do the right thing.”

Rusty Shipley has assumed management of the Batesville, Mammoth Spring and Mountain Home locations. Shipley has been with the cooperative for nearly 10 years. He began his career with the company as a service tech and propane driver and transitioned to hauling refined fuel four years ago.

“Rusty is a loyal, dependable guy with a lot of experience,” says Jeff Goodwin, Mid-South District Manager. “His experience makes him well-suited for the job and Matt Warren, his former manager, recommended him for the position.”

Hunt and Shipley now report to McCallie.
