
For a quarter century, Lonnie Pennock has served as a consistent presence at the MFA Oil propane plant in Sullivan, Mo. Pennock began his career with the company in 1997 as a driver. In 2000 he took on the role of plant manager, a position Pennock held until 2011. During a period of plant manager consolidation, Pennock transitioned back to hauling fuel until his retirement in 2022.
“Lonnie has taken great care of our members and customers in the Sullivan area,” says Jared Lause, Pennock’s plant manager. “He’s been a dependable guy. I will miss his willingness to share his many years of experience and knowledge.”
Pennock has enjoyed his time with the cooperative and the opportunities it has provided to him.
“I’ve had a great career,” Pennock says. “I will miss my co-workers and many of the customers. But I won’t miss pulling that hose anymore.”
